What is the advantage of a lease bicycle?
Did you know that the lease bicycle is easily 35% cheaper than buying it yourself? This is because a lease bicycle is ususally deducted from your gross salary. And the possible contribution from your employer can make it even more affordable. You also pay a low tax addition of only 7% for private use. Want to calculate your own benefit? Which brands can I choose?
You can choose from more than 100 brands. You can easily find out the available brands via the calculator, under 'Brand'. Is a brand not listed? Then unfortunately we cannot offer it (yet).
Which dealers are affiliated?
Affiliated dealers can be found via the dealer locator. You can also go to these dealers for a test drive.
Can I find all brands online?
No, not all brands can be ordered online. Check the dealer locator for affiliated dealers in your area. They may stock your favorite your favorite bike.
How do I order a bicycle?
You will receive an invitation e-mail to order a bicycle. This e-mail contains a PIN code. With this PIN code you go to an affiliated dealer and choose your bicycle. The dealer then offers the bicycle to you for approval. After you have approved the quotation, your employer and LeasePlan approve the order. Then we place the order with the dealer. You can also choose from brands without stores, such as VanMoof, Veloretti and Cowboy. You then order your bicycle completely online, using your PIN code.
Can I lease accessories?
Not at the moment. We expect this to be possible by the end of 2022.
What is included in the lease contract?
Almost everything: purchase of the bicycle, maintenance, repairs, damage and theft insurance, roadside assistance via ANWB and a replacement bicycle if your bicycle is in repair for more than 2 days.
What costs do I have to take into account? And who pays those costs?
The employer pays the lease rate. The employee pays the tax addition for private use on a monthly basis. There may also be a personal contribution for the employee, if agreements have been made about this between the employee and the employer. All costs are included in the lease rate. How long is the term of a lease contract?
The term of a lease contact is 36 months. After this you return the bicycle. You also have the option to take over the bicycle.
